🎉 Starting Strong
2024 kicked off with a bang as a valued returning customer signed a new contract for our coveralls, choosing us after encountering challenges with their previous supplier. This pivotal moment drove us to accelerate production and meet the growing demand with confidence and precision.
🌟 Celebrating Women in MedTech
Irene Fink, Brigitta Lackner and Marta Bazela-Sleczek had the pleasure of attending the MTAA’s IWD event in Sydney, highlighting the vital roles of women in MedTech, fostering meaningful connections, and sparking inspiring conversations.
👷♂️ A Decade of Dedication
We celebrated Daniel Cathers, our Design Team manager, reaching 10 years as part of the Sabre Medical team!
💡 Engineering Excellence
This year saw the launch of our Engineering Technology Team, headed by Rahul Bangur, who was recently promoted to Engineering Technology Manager. From concept to product realisation, this team is driving innovation forward. Rahul also represented us at AusBiotech’s AusMedtech 2024 in Adelaide, where he connected with attendees and explored advancements in healthcare technology.
📦 Expanding Horizons
The opening of our New Zealand warehouse in partnership with ANJEN Solutions Ltd marked a significant milestone, enabling faster, more efficient service for our customers.
🧠 Supporting Groundbreaking Innovation
We were proud to support our client Kitea Health who successfully initiated their clinical trials and is advancing to the next stage. In a groundbreaking world-first, Kitea Health has implanted a chip in an Auckland patient’s brain to monitor pressure, part of an innovative trial.
🤝 Joining the MTAA
This year, we joined the Medical Technology Association of Australia (MTAA) as a member organisation. Sponsoring and exhibiting at the MTAA MedTech Conference 2024, connecting with thought leaders, attendees, and experts. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth.
🌍 Global Conferences
Our CEO, Doug Watson, attended the 2024 Annual Micronclean Distributor Conference in the UK before heading to Düsseldorf for COMPAMED. A highlight was witnessing MEDIPACK AG’s latest tray sealer model in action.
🚀 Breaking New Ground: Sabre Medical TGA Audit for Orthopaedic Devices
We are thrilled to announce a positive response from the TGA auditors after completing of our recent TGA audit. A successful outcome to this audit will position us to supply sterile orthopaedic devices starting in 2025—a significant milestone for our team.
📆 Looking Ahead 2025 promises to be another exciting year with a new ethanol product launch, participation in key industry conferences, and more insightful articles.
