Description
Overview
We offer dye-penetration testing to evaluate the seal integrity of packaging. This method is used to detect channels across seals on porous (ASTM F1929) and non-porous (ASTM F3039) packages, using the appropriate dye and wetting agents. The pouch centre is pierced and injected with blue dye, and is then rotated on all sides to see if any dye escapes from the seal. All samples are pre-conditioned prior to testing in a controlled temperature and humidity environment.
Sabre Medical also offers the dye penetration solution in 100 mL bottles for the convenience of testing at your own facility.
