As 2025 draws to a close, here are just a few highlights from an incredible year at Sabre Medical
• We kicked off 2025 by continuing to support new medtech talent, with University of Technology Sydney at the Optik Tradeshow at the UTS Tech Lab. Later in the year, our team attended the SUABE Annual Dinner, an inspiring evening bringing together students, alumni and industry professionals, as well as the UTS Biomedical Engineering Society Engineering networking event in Sydney.
• We were proud to host our long-term partner Micronclean from the UK, welcoming Ashleigh Herbert and Stella Yates MBA CMgr.
• We launched our newest Australian-Made innovation, our 99.5% pure alcohol, additive-free Ethanol, manufactured in our ISO Class 7 & 8 cleanrooms. Find out more about our Ethanol HERE
• Our team showcased Sabre Medical at major industry events, including AusBiotech’s AusMedtech 2025 and CeMAT AUSTRALIA.
• We were honoured to support Osseointegration International and celebrate the work of William Lu, PhD GCRST, who has helped amputees in Ukraine with prosthetic limbs. We helped by managing the cleaning, packaging, and sterilisation of the Osseointegration Prosthetic Limb Attachment system.
• Our team travelled globally in 2025, attending MEDICA and COMPAMED 2025 in Düsseldorf, CPHI & PMEC India in Delhi and the Micronclean Distributor Conference in Manchester. Additionally, Damian Hinze visited our partners MEDIPACK AG in Switzerland to perform FAT on a new multicavity tool.
Additionally, Brigitta Lackner and Irene Fink were lucky enough to visit MEDIPACK AG in Switzerland as well. The MediPack team were amazing hosts, showing us around their facility and walking us through everything they do.
• Sabre Medical underwent our first FDA audit in July. After 5 days of the most intense scrutiny, we passed with flying colours. Congratulations to all involved, especially Brigitta & the entire Quality team.
• We continued to support and invest in our people throughout 2025. Highlights included our annual International Food Week and Bollywood disco to celebrate Rahul Bangur‘s marriage in India.
We also celebrated key team milestones: YC Siew promoted to Supply & Logistics Manager, Matin Honarmand to Production Manager,
Patricia Vazquez to Office Manager, and Jeff Anderson, Service Manager in our Facilities Team, marked his 10-year anniversary with Sabre Medical.
🎉 One of the most meaningful milestones of 2025 was celebrating 20 years of Sabre Medical. We marked the occasion with a morning tea with Cochlear Australia and presented Roger Leigh with a custom-designed cycling jersey, a symbolic tribute to the partnership that sparked Sabre Medical’s journey in 2005.
